Hi! I am Aditi.
I grew up in the beautiful islands of Fiji. I was born in the capital city of Suva however, my career landed me back in Nadi, where my parents were born and raised. Whilst Suva was an excellent place to live in, Nadi always held a special place in my heart. I now live in Queensland, Australia. My family always loved photography and my brother taught me how to use a camera, which was a basic point and shoot camera.
Although I started photography at a very young age, I started taking it seriously when a friend of mine lent his Pentax DSLR for a weekend. This was 10 years ago. He gave me a quick run down on how to turn it on and what the controls did and just basically said "You will figure out the rest, just go out and have fun with it". I never used a DSLR before. That weekend opened up a whole new world for me and I just couldn't stop taking photos!
I gave in and finally started building up my photography gear. I became a loyal Pentaxian and I haven't looked at another camera since. I learnt a a lot about photography over the past 10 years and I believe that you can have all the best gear in the world but if you don't start seeing you will never be able to get out that great image.
After all, Photography is the art of seeing.
